Michael Claffey – DASHing Together Virtually 2021 Special

“I’m hopeful for the future of a world without pancreatic cancer”

“As summer quickly approaches, the Rolfe community is gearing up for our 11th annual DASH, and the second time we’ll be DASHing Together Virtually. I’m proud to once again be leading Team Colleen Claffey in memory of my late wife, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2017. Our family and friends, both near and far, will join together in creative, virtual ways to raise money and much-needed awareness of this horrible disease.

Colleen was a loving person, whose strength and courage during the chemotherapy, doctor visits, and difficult decisions continue to inspire me. She was always involved with a variety of charitable organizations, and I know if she were still here today, she would be leading the charge—with more flair and creativity—to help those who need it most. So I run in her honor, and for all the patients and families going through similar circumstances.

I’m hopeful for the future of a world without pancreatic cancer, but we can’t do it without you. On behalf of Colleen, and our family and friends, I hope you’ll join us on July 10th to help us beat this disease.”
